JobsDB: What is the company’s market position currently?
Adecco is one of Malaysia’s leading human resource and staffing solutions companies. The company was established in Asia Pacific in 1984 and now has a presence in all key regional markets. JobsDB: What is the size of staff in the company? How many are permanent, temp and interns?
The Adecco Malaysia Team comprises 70 recruitment professionals that operate from 7 branches in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Penang, Malacca, Johor Bahru and Shah Alam. Offices are strategically placed to meet the needs of Adecco clients and job seekers.

JobsDB: What are your methods for recruitment? What medium do you use to recruit new members of staff?
Adecco utilises a number of channels that include print, on-line, word of mouth and career fairs/events. Different channels are utilised for different recruitment needs and opportunities.

JobsDB: What is general assessment take on the quality of jobseekers in term of qualification?
The majority of jobseekers that register with Adecco comprise diploma and degree holders from a variety of backgrounds. Adecco also welcomes jobseekers with high school certification looking for non-executive vacancies.

JobsDB: What is your take on these jobseekers communication skills?
Many new graduates welcome support with communication and presentation skills – especially in relation to how they use voice to convey emotions in a professional manner and speaking with clarity and precision. This is an area that applicants are always looking to improve upon.

JobsDB: What are the other skills that you feel should be useful?
Jobseekers that are multilingual usually have an edge over their peers – especially if they have additional professional qualifications. Language skills are also very useful – especially when a position requires employees to serve customers from overseas.
What is the typical feedback from clients when you as a result of matchmaking the candidates?
Adecco takes the time to listen to client and candidate requirements in order to ensure the right fit. Whether for a short, long term or permanent position, the essential factor is that both candidate and client are right for each other.
